JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive the vision for developing, communicating, and implementing Design System.
Lead design system discussions and decisions with the design team and other stakeholders.
Guide the design and development by prototyping and writing guidelines for new components, patterns, and animations.
Collaborate closely with engineering to build right-fit solutions.
Develop and maintain detailed user-interface specifications and design patterns.
Organise and conduct user testing to validate the usability of the design system patterns.
Audit and evaluate design system usage across applications, identify gaps and problems in the design system, and propose solutions.
Create and maintain processes for scaling, updating, managing, and evangelising a design system.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
2+ years of experience as a user experience designer, interaction designer, information architect, or similar role.
Strong ability to communicate design ideas using sketches, flow diagrams, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes in a cross-functional team environment.
Self-motivated, highly organised, and able to prioritise and perform multiple tasks under minimal direction.
Excellent collaboration skills and familiarity with technical constraints when designing for software platforms.
Proficiency using FIGMA for design and prototyping.
Experience working with design systems.
Solid Visual/UI Design skills.
Experience working in a collaborative team and working directly with product management and developers for the implementation of designs
Knowledge about platform UX design standards and guidelines.
Highly organised, strong attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
